Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley is preparing youth for great futures with help from MacKenzie Scott. The philanthropist and novelist awarded a combined $281 million to 62 local Boys & Girls Clubs, including Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley announced its sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program administered by the Arizona Department of Education, Community Nutrition Programs. Meals will be made available to enrolled participants at no separate charge without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

Longtime supporters of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ), The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation has awarded a $500,000 grant to support ongoing Club operations. The grant comes at a critical time as BGCAZ has had to expand programming during this time of COVID to continue its mission of helping youth and teens develop the skills and resiliency needed to successfully navigate childhood and reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible members of the community.
