Marcia Mintz, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix, today accepted a $100,000 check from Wells Fargo to support operations during Arizona’s school walkout. Don Pearson, Wells Fargo’s Lead Regional President of the Desert Mountain Region, was joined by colleagues and Wells Fargo volunteers manning a community phone bank at Channel 12 /KPNX, to present the check to support the operations of Clubs around the state of Arizona through the teacher walkout.
Sixty-plus Valley restaurants are scheduled to dole out dishes at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix’s (BGCMP) annual Dish It Out event Oct. 22 at High Street at 5 p.m. In addition to eats from Citizen Public House, The Gladly, The Vig and more, event-goers can sip craft beer, cocktail and wine (from Ballast Point, Lagunitas, San Tan, Belvedere Vodka, Gentleman Jack, Dalmore Scotch, Red Bull Mocktails and many more).
