The Boys & Girls Club of Metro Phoenix is thrilled to announce that Club member Mikayla Lowry was awarded a $100,000 college scholarship by Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s foundations, BeyGOOD Initiative and The Shawn Carter Foundation, during last night’s On the Run II Tour concert last night at the State Farm Stadium.

A complete digital makeover! Drones, virtual reality and 3D printers. It’s all part of a cool new tech center, just for high school teens after class. The doors officially open here at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center at the Jerry Colangelo branch Wednesday! The center is addressing the nation’s opportunity gap by offering teens free, year-round, hands-on technology access and education in an after-school setting.
