The Big Event 2018

City of Tolleson Plans to Close Tolleson Branch of the Boys & Girls Club at the End of the 2017-18 School Year

After serving the youth and families of the Tolleson community for 30 years, the City of Tolleson has decided to close the Woodrow C. Scoutten/Tolleson Branch of the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Phoenix. This news came as both a surprise and disappointment to us. We were not included in their decision process and we were formally told of their plans on February 8th in a meeting with the City Manager and Assistant City Manager that we requested.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix Receives Visit from Out-of-this-World Guests

Members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix (BGCMP) are ready to launch into space with the visit of a Dr. Dante Lauretta of the University of Arizona. The principal investigator of an asteroid mission will be joined by an astronomer for a night of space exploration at the Swift Kids Branch.
