Dunkin’ Goes Bananas: Savannah Bananas and Dunkin’ Team Up to Deliver Game Tix to Five Deserving Valley Youth

The “Greatest Show in Sports” will continue to run on Dunkin’, as the brand today announced the continuation of its partnership naming Dunkin’ as the favorite coffee and donut of the Savannah Bananas. As part of the team’s Banana Ball World Tour, the Savannah Bananas are hitting the road to play in Peoria’s own Peoria Sports Complex for a three-game series February 15, 16 and 17. Among the fans in the stands next week will be several deserving teens and youth that have overcome challenges and are leaders in their neighborhoods and families.

ABC15’s 2nd Chance Sports Gear Drive Presented by Earnhardt Auto Centers- Community Effort Benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley

ABC15 Arizona and Earnhardt Auto Centers kick off the 2nd Chance Sports Gear Drive campaign to help youth and teens in need of sports gear. While it can seem like a simple purchase, for many families, buying a basketball, baseball or even a new football may be out of reach for parents working to make ends meet. That’s why ABC15 Arizona, Earnhardt Auto Centers, BIG 94.5, KMLE 107.9, and LIVE 101.5 Phoenix are teaming up to provide viewers the opportunity to help by donating new or gently used sports gear that will be given to athletes of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley. The donated sports gear will support equity for all players by providing them with their own gear to use at home or after school at practice.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley and Business Leader Justin Bayless to Select Summer 2023 Bayless Entrepreneurship Program Winner

Last month, the Chandler Compadres announced a $1 million grant for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley’s (BGCAZ) Chandler Compadres Branch as part of its 2023-2024 grant cycle. The grant will allow BGCAZ to address transportation challenges in Chandler by outsourcing afterschool transit to private charter companies. As schools struggle to find commercially licensed drivers for school buses and families face limited transportation options, this innovative solution enables BGCAZ to bring almost 250 kids per day to its Chandler Compadres Branch from six different Chandler schools.

Community Leaders Take Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley Kids Back-to-School Shopping, presented by Cigna

Hundreds of students from Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) will gather at three Valley Kohl’s locations for a morning they won’t forget. BGCAZ board members and other community volunteers will be paired with these Club kids, selected based on financial need and outstanding behavior, for a morning of back-to-school shopping. Players from the Arizona Coyotes along with mascot Howler will join shoppers at the Gilbert location.
