Bailey M. | Bob Bové Branch
Bailey is well known around the community for being a very charismatic and kind teen member that knows how to socialize and familiarize himself with community members. He is very goal oriented and stays dedicated and motivated to his goals. He has proven to be one of the biggest contributors as a teen member in the last couple of years at his Club.
He volunteers his time and is always willing to lend a hand when needed without hesitation. He is currently Keystone President and is always finding ways to involve his team on community events. He continuously lends a helping hand to his peers, the staff, and the community.
His life story is what makes him even more impressive and deserving. He changed his life and through the Club’s guidance, he managed to stay on a positive path. Even through all his hardships he surpassed them all by staying humble, kind and becoming a leader.
Bailey is pursuing a few things after high school. He is an amazing football player and plans to play in college while also pursuing a computer science degree. He hopes to one day be a part of the technology world and has dreams of getting drafted to the NFL.
Apart from playing football, which is his passion, Bailey also likes to explore other hobbies in his spare time. He has recently picked up on oil painting and has become good at it, even entering a community art competition, and winning first place in the state.
Q: What is your favorite thing about High School?
My favorite thing about high school is the social life, meeting new people, learning about their unique cultures, and just learning how to live in general.
Q: What is one thing (or your favorite thing) you’ve had the opportunity to do because of the Boys & Girls Club?
I’ve had the opportunity to do many things in my time here at the club like going to my first NFL game and field trips to see weird animals. However, my favorite was going to a football camp with an NFL player, setting a new record there and winning an award.
Q: What’s your favorite quote or saying? (something you live by, inspirational, leadership)
Something I came up with myself is, “Change starts today, not tomorrow” meaning do stuff today stop putting it off until tomorrow.
